Arropa - textured washcloth

This washcloth is both simple and quick to knit up. An easy pattern where gauge is unimportant that is a step up from a complete beginner project. The staggered bamboo stitch pattern creates a highly textured fabric great for many uses: hand towels, dish towels, washcloths, facecloths, or even napkins. Use a plant based soft yarn for absorbency and to make sure it can be easily machine washed and dried.

The odd number of repeat rows means that there is no “right side” to this cloth. Optionally add a loop while binding off if you wish to hang the cloths on hooks or knobs.
