Product Details
A cowl inspired by my knitted design Autumn’s Draft Cowl. The idea started with thoughts of different colors of the leaves and how the wind blows them in different directions and it transferred to a pattern that uses a geometrical arrow-like stitch pattern and 3 different colors of the yarn. But of course, you can use not only fall colors but many other different combinations, just make sure, all the 3 colors have enough contrast between each other.
This pattern uses tapestry style crochet for the colorwork, each round you’ll work only with 2 strands of yarn.
The width and the length are easily customizable. The pattern described one size and gives directions on how to change both dimensions.
Skills: Chain, single crochet, tapestry colorwork with 2 colors at once
Materials: Yarn: 3 contrast colors of fingering weight yarn, each color 155 yds (140 m), hook E (3.5 mm)
Gauge: 25 sts and 25 rows = 4” (10 cm) in single crochet with colorwork
