Product Details

This two-color cowl makes use of a traditional Latvian sun motif.

The symmetrical nature of the chart and the lack of long floats make it a good beginner project for crafters just starting their stranded knitting addiction.

Knit with fluffy fingering weight yarns, the cowl is both soft and lofty and is sure to become your favorite cold weather accessory.

Materials Needed: Yarn: 130 yards each of background and motif colors in fingering weight yarn. Sample knit in Madelinetosh TML + Glitter (multicolor) and 100purewool (white)

Needles: Size 4 US/ 3.5 mm 16” (41 cm) circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge)
