This is a great pattern if you are a beginner or just starting to create crocheted clothing. This is a simple pattern with only 2 special stitches.
This pattern is approximately 32" long by 26" wide. You can easily adjust the length by adding center rows. Or you can add to the width by adding stitches to the first row in multiples of 3.
Gauge is not terribly important for this project.
You could use any #4 worsted weight yarn. This project used approximately 14oz. That is less than one skein in the Lion Brand Pound of Love yarn.
