Product Details
Autumn Fog socks were inspired by the yellow leaves of my walnut trees in autumn amidst the foggy skies. The colorwork bands provide some interest while knitting, but are narrow enough to allow the socks to easily slip over one’s heel. The band at the toe provides a little extra cushiness and warmth to the ball of the foot. The remainder of the sock is worked in ribbing to provide a great fitting sock. The accompanying article: Easy Methods of Dyeing Fiber Naturally with Ubiquitous Midwestern Plants, was originally published in the Summer 2018 issue of Spin Off magazine
