This is a pdf knitting pattern aimed at beginners
This cardigan is worked in chunky yarn and knitted as one piece. The sleeves are worked as part of the front and back sections. The centre front button bands are incorporated within the knit. If required button holes are worked into the front section, or use large snap fasteners/poppers/press studs to fasten, or create a chain stitch button loop as detailed on page 4 (these work well with larger single buttons and pompoms).
