Product Details
Many parents through the years have lamented the fact that their toddlers drag around a hand knit baby afghan as their favorite nap and bedtime snuggly. However, all this dragging around makes for a stretched out, often dirty, and hole-filled mess because the size is just too big. Here is my solution. A much smaller soft blankee (thus kee kee) that a parent can use as a small cover in infancy but that the child can then travel with throughout toddlerhood. You can adorn with a satin ribbon around the edges for an even prettier presentation. These Kee Kees are also well used for a preemie.
NOTE: The pattern is written for 2 gauges of yarn, worsted AND sport. The pattern is worked flat and optional charts are provided for a number of images to be knit into the corners of the blanket OR the knitter may choose to place eyelets around the edge of the blanket in order to weave a soft ribbon.
