VISION IMPAIRED VERSIONS also available

Available in Italian--thanks to Cristina Baretta!

Banyan Love and Banyan Double Love incorporate the ever-popular 'Trees' cabled pattern originally developed in Barbara Walker's Stitch dictionaries, into a surrounding mesh of vertical strips of garter alternating with stockinette, to make a heavily textured blanket. Knit in one piece, no seaming.

Why do you have two versions? Due to popular demandrequest of people who wanted more trees and less background.

Which version should I make?

BANYAN LOVE---as in photos left--very oriented to beginners with little experience with cabling, heavily tutorialed and descriptive.

BANYAN DOUBLE LOVE---has four sets of trees as in schematic at left (and the lilac photo) and has been thoroughly tested; the counts are triple checked and accurate. This version is for more experienced knitters, or very brave beginners :). If you made [The Dishcloth practice piece]
