Barney Bear is worked using 2 strands of yarn together. The solid base is a DK/8ply like Cascade 220 in a brown tone and the other yarn is a Mohair blend with variegated tones through it, a good example is Hobbii Diablo, Manos del Uruguay Cabrito, Jo Sharp Rare Comfort Infusion or similar.
Easy and quick to knit on straight needles.
His clothes are worked separate and are interchangeable.
