Product Details
First published as a 4-part knitalong in The Knitter magazine in 2023, Barragán is a dramatic lace wrap in two colours.
Mexican architect, Luis Barragán, is quoted as saying “A garden must combine the poetic and the mysterious with a feeling of serenity and joy”. This wrap was designed with yarn colours named “MY Serenity” and “MY Joy” and so it feels appropriate to name the wrap Barragán.
Barragán was originally designed using 3.25mm needles and this option is offered here and is recommended, as well as the option published in The Knitter magazine using 3mm needles. The photographs show the wrap knitted using 3.25mm needles.
If using the smaller needles and smaller yarn quantities it is recommended to follow the shorter version of Part Three to avoid running out of yarn.
