Product Details
Barrel Racer is constructed a little differently from other seamed cardigans. All the pieces are knit flat (one back panel, two front panels, and two sleeves), then sewn together with a modified mattress stitch technique. After the pieces have been joined, ribbing is added to the bottom hem, collar, and cuffs, much like a tailored garment would be constructed. I’ve chosen this method to create a clean, polished finish and a more comfortable fit.
This cardigan can be made as a cropped or full length sweater and is designed to have 4 inches of positive ease for all sizes. Measure around the fullest part of your bust, add 4 inches, and choose the size that number. If you are between sizes, go up one for a looser fit or down one for a tighter fit.
