Product Details
This written crochet pattern (in US terms) is my version of a simple granny square (others may have slight variations in some of the steps, but the final product usually works out the same).
A granny square can be used for making little squares (or larger ones – simply continue the pattern for as many rounds as desired) to sew together for blankets, cushion covers, shawls, or scarves. Use any number of colours, in any number of combinations.
Any yarn (with crochet hook to match yarn weight) can be used. Gauge is not important for this pattern.
The only additional material required is a darning needle, with which to weave in ends.
