Bertie Bear

Introducing Bertie Bear, a small snuggly friend who enjoys adventures… particularly picnics! Bertie can be knitted by a complete beginner and is approximately 9 inches when completed.

Skills needed:

-Cast-on stitches (I use the long tail method but any will work fine)

-Knit front and back of a stitch to increase stitch count

-Knit 2 stitches together to decrease the stitch count

-Cast off stitches

Materials:

- Paintbox simply chunky 2 X 100gm balls in different colours (you will have some wool left over)

-Size 3 knitting needles

-Approx: 60gms toy stuffing

-Yarn needle

-Small amount of black Dk yarn or embroidery thread for sewing the face on.
