inspiration
I aimed to put the spirit of the Norwegian wilderness in bulky yarn textures: tree branches, swirling ferns, wild waters.
yarn
This sample is worked with one strand of Hillesvåg Troll, colour ‘7040 bleket lime’ , a heathered green. Troll is a 2 ply, airy spun, non- superwash yarn that shows off texture well.
Sample shown uses approx. 66m (72yd) of bulky weight yarn [114m/100g (125yd/100g)].
sizing
The hat comes in one size to fit an approximately 54-58cm (22-23”) head circumference.
gauge
13 sts x 18 rounds for 10x10cm (4x4’’) knit using a 6.0mm (US 10) needle in stockinette stitch in the round, washed and dried flat.
