Product Details
Bewilderness is a crescent shaped shawl in a satisfying combination of stripes and lace, with a striking cable and slipped stitch motif over a snuggly garter base. It is edged by a unique and elegant lace which can be worked in a series of adaptable modules.
It is suited to either two contrasting yarns, or a single gradient cake worked from both ends. If beading, approx 400 beads if worked in the sample size.
The size of the shawl is adaptable. The cable stripes section can be lengthened, and the lace section can be worked to any size.
Suits fingering weight yarn in any yardage between approx 500m and 900m.
The edging uses a variation of a stitch pattern by Naomi Parkhurst of Gannet Designs, based on the word Wilderness.
Can be worked entirely from written pattern, or from charts with some notes.
