Product Details
Blooming Hexagons is made up of individually knit hexagons that feature a beautiful blooming flower motif that when seamed together create a stunning flower bouquet.
This project is perfect for using scraps, mini, and advent skeins. Each hexagon uses approx 14g/51yds of fingering weight yarn. **The hexagons have both charted and written out instructions.**
Measurements: Each hexagon measures 7” across. The blanket pictured requires 53 full-size hexagons and 6 half-sized hexagons, and measures 44” x 56”. The blanket is easily adjustable by working more or less hexagons. Three layout options are illustrated.
Needles: US 3 / 3.25mm DPNs and 16” circular needle or one 32” circular needle for Magic Loop technique, or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 28 sts x 32 rows = 4” / 10cm in stockinette stitch, blocked.
Yarn: Fingering Weight 14 grams/ 51 yards per full hexagon; 8 grams/ 30 yards per half hexagon For the blanket pictured, 800 grams/3,000 yards are required.
