Product Details
With the Beautiful Blue Danube, I’m acquainted ever since I’ve been started teaching at the Vienna Wool Festival. Its gently lapping waves inspired me to the wave and cable patterns in this comfortable sweater, which is, as usual, worked seamlessly from the top down, and thanks to just the right amount of positive ease that hides problem zones without seeming shapeless, ever-so-slightly dropped shoulders with still fitted sleeves and a just a little bit curved hemline is just the right thing to wear for a stroll at the riverside or a visit to an open-air café.
Materials:
The Plucky Knitters Plucky Feet (90% Merino Wool, 10% Nylon): 115g/ 425 yards [389 meters] – 3 (3, 4, 4, 4, 4], 5, 5) skeins or approx. 1200 (1270, 1360, 1460, 1560, 1660], 1760, 1860) yards [1100 (1160, 1250, [1340, 1430, 1520], 1610, 1700) meters] of fingering weight yarn that knits up to gauge. The sample is size S1 worn with 2.5” 6.5 cm of positive ease.
