Boann is the sacred river personified as a mother goddess, in Irish mythology, and the name of this scarf with a wavy Plissé pattern. Wear the scarf with the matching Genki tunic, hanging loose or as a collar. Boann is knitted in the divine Capital Luxury Sport yarn from the Neighborhood Fiber Co.
Yarn: Neighborhood Fiber Co. Capital Luxury Sport (80% organic Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% silk, 343 m/375 yds, 113 g).
The sample is knitted in Bromo (discontinued colorway) or replace with Abell;
2 skeins; 622 m/680 yds.
Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows in St st using 3.25 mm/US 3 needle measures 10 cm/4” square, after blocking.
28 sts and 38 rows in Plissé pattern using 3.25 mm/US 3 needle measures 10 cm/4” square, after blocking (naturally pleated).
Notes: The scarf is knitted bottom up with one edge stitch in each side.
