This super scrunchy cowl is knit using a fun-to-work double cable to create a fabric that's completely reversible.
Cowl is knit seamlessly in the round from bottom to top.
To modify circumference, work more or fewer stitch repeats. To modify depth, work more or fewer row repeats.
For a softly draping cowl as shown, the fabric must be loosely knit. The yarn used here typically works up at 17-20 sts per 4" using US needles size 7-8. Substitute any similar-gauged worsted weight yarn.
Gauge: 16 sts = 4" / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch.
