Product Details
The Bonfire Scarf was inspired by a cold November evening in the park. The warm glow from the bonfire, the crackling sparks and embers, the sweet aroma of wood smoke. The anticipation in the air as we held hands to stay warm while we waited for the start of the firework display.
The scarf is crocheted with chunky or Aran variegated yarn. The stitch pattern uses a simple combination of slip stitches and half trebles worked in the back loop to produce a lovely cosy textured scarf which will keep you warm on the coldest November evenings. Choose your favourite colourful yarn, grab your hook and have fun crocheting your new scarf!
The original Bonfire Scarf shown above was made with King Cole Cottagespun Chunky, 2x150g balls in colourway Ember Glow, using a 6mm hook. Length 160cm, width 20cm.
The colourful version in the photos is a shorter version which was made with Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze Prints Aran, 1x200g cake in colourway Peppercombe, using a 5mm hook. Length 127cm, width 15cm.
