What you'll need
Product Details
Bonifacja is a shawl that can be worn in many ways: as a wrap on a chilly summer evening, a small blanket for a hot day afternoon nap or as a pareo. If made in warmer yarn, it will be a great shawl for colder season. The pattern was designed as an easy and enjoyable way to learn lace. It is repetitive, intuitive and easy to follow, moreover, it requires the use of very basic decreases.
Size and yarn - the shawl can be done in cake yarn or in a tonal or solid colour. The point is not to choose yarn where colours change too often so as not to obsure the lace pattern.
Needles should be adapted to the yarn used and the degree of lacy effect that you desire to achieve.
The gauge for pictured shawl was 20 stitches and 30 rows = 10 cm in stockinette blocked. It is not required to achieve the same.
