The cardigan and beret are both included in this pattern and is the same pattern as that shown for the cardigan.
The fine twist rib is a twist stitch (no cable needle) over a reverse stocking stitch background while the lattice detail at the crown is achieved by cabling (using a cable needle) the twist rib.
