Product Details

Bottoni is an open front cardigan. It is worked seamlessly from the top down. Both fronts are worked in a rustic lace pattern while the back and the sleeves are kept in plain Stockinette stitch. Your start working the fronts down to armhole length. Stitches for the back are picked up from the cast-on edges of the fronts and worked in Stockinette stitch to match the length of the fronts. Fronts and back are then joined to work the body in one piece to the pocket openings and bottom ribbing. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the arm opening to work the sleeves top down in the round in plain Stockinette stitch. The cardigan should be worn with a positive ease of 10 - 14" (25.5 - 35.5 cm).

Gauge: 20 sts x 30 rows = 4" (10 cm) square in Stockinette stitch after blocking
