Product Details
l designed this with my toddler daughter in mind. I wanted something comfortable and airy to work on the windy days of summer and right on into a relaxed top for winter. It is designed to change fit as the wearer grows so it will last for many seasons.
Beginner friendly and pattern tested.
Chart denotes finished garment size.
Use child measurements from the Craft Yarn Council (link in pattern).
This is an oversized sweater, do not size up to have room to grow.
Designed with very little seaming (top of the shoulders only) and with only 2 ends to weave in at the end if you work over the yarn tails (written into instructions).
Samples are in worsted weight. I have also used a heavier dk yarn, making sure I met gauge with it before starting. Both the yarn used in the samples in the photos, and the dk yarn I used are listed. Only one yarn is required to make this. Any worsetd or dk weight you can meet gauge with that has nice drape will work.
