Product Details
Bump Along is a fun and easy cowl that highlights mini skeins! This fabulous cowl was inspired by one of my self-striping patterns Speed Bumps. Instead of a self-striping yarn I used an advent calendar to highlight the change in pattern.
Not interested in mini skeins? Bump Along can also be done in one yarn! A variegated or hand dyed yarn would highlight the pattern nicely. Bump Along uses knits and purls interspersed with stockinette rows to make this fun bumpy texture.
YARN 380 yards (347 meters) of fingering weight yarn
NEEDLES US 4 (3.5 cm) 16” circular (40 cm)
NOTIONS Tapestry needle Stitch marker
GAUGE 28 stitches x 40 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in 1x1 ribbing
Adjust needle size to obtain correct gauge if necessary!
