Use oddballs from your yarn collection to make several sizes of these fun bowls. Embellish with buttons or beads if you like!
In-Depth Yarn Answers The yarns used in the first photo are Brown Sheep Lamb’s Pride Worsted for the tall one and the button bowl, and Nashua Creative Focus Worsted for the purple bowl with turquoise beads.
All but the tall one (in photos #1 & #2) had the same number of stitches on the same size needles, and the same person knit them. All were run through my washer hot wash cold rinse, two times…
When I made a bowl in Noro Kureyon, it took 3 trips through the wash and is still somewhat fluffy and softer than the rest (mine is the back bowl in the final photo). The size differences between bowls made of different yarns were vast, but all are useable and have good proportions.
Construction: Begun with stockinette rectangle worked flat briefly; completed in the round using a set of 5 double-pointed needles (4 holding, 1 working).
