Use this pattern to create a stylish rainbow wall hanging, with tassel detail.
This pattern is suitable for improving beginners who can confidently crochet the UK treble (US double) crochet. It uses the corner to corner (C2C) crochet technique and introduces adding texture to C2C projects by using popcorn stitch. This pattern uses the UK double crochet, treble crochet, chain and extended double crochet (US single crochet, double crochet, chain and extended single crochet).
A general photo tutorial for the C2C technique is given, including how to change colour and how to make C2C popcorn stitch. Written descriptions of all other stitches are also included. A colour chart for the actual pattern is included as well as a written list of the colour changes. Instructions are given on how to read the chart. Photo tutorials for making the border, mounting your work on a hanging bar and making tassels is also included.
