Product Details
The detailed cable and lace pattern makes this scarf visually appealing while the soft merino wool it is worked in makes it warm and luxurious. The pattern is easy to master and interesting to knit. The pattern is written for Malabrigo Finito and is shown here in Aguas. Any fingering/sock weight wool may be used. It is worked flat from end to end. The pattern includes notes, list of abbreviations, and written and charted instructions for the pattern stitch. Two full skeins, or 366 m (400 yd) of Malabrigo Finito were used. Finished measurements: approximately 25 cm (10 inches) wide and 127 cm (50 inches) long. To make a longer scarf, more yarn would be required. Skills required: Cabling, basic lace knitting, working yarn overs after and before knit and purl stitches, blocking. Stitches used: k, p, sl1, C4F, (sl1, k2tog, psso), ssk, yo.
