Product Details
Camoesa is an apple, one of the traditional varieties available in Portugal. It’s harvested in September, and taken home, it spreads its perfume while matures. It lasts throughout Winter and, you guessed it, is one of my favourites!
It was the obvious name for the pattern, as the base stitch for this shawl is the translation of the word apple into knitting by designer Naomi Parkhurst.
I couldn’t resist the detail and originality of it, so I chose a classic triangular shape to enhance the freshness of the lace, and a bright colour of hand dyed merino yarn (Dyed by Alfinete) to send the gloominess away.
