Product Details
The “CANOE BAY LOUNGING SHORTS” is a made to measure lacy pattern, ideal for warm beach days or lounging around the home. A BONUS (untested) pattern for a matching top, is included in the pattern.
The shorts is made to measure which means any yarn weight and the corresponding hook can be used. The pattern contains a link to a video tutorial and also includes a crochet chart.
Instructions for estimating yardage is provided since the pattern is made to measure and all bodies are unique. The length of the shorts can be modified to make culottes.
While the lace uses basic stitches, the “made to measure technique” makes this project intermediate. However, the video tutorial can be quite helpful for adventurous beginners and I’m a message away if help is required.
The design and name is inspired by the beautiful Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago.
