Product Details

Casual with a touch of class, this vest is equally comfortable for a walk in the woods or a day at the office.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Bust - 35 (36¾, 38¾, 41, 43, 44¾)(46¾, 49, 51, 52¾, 54¾)", buttoned with 1" overlap at bust only; there is a slight gap at the hem. Intended to be worn with 0-2" of ease.

YARN: 755 (800, 835, 880, 930, 980)(1030, 1080, 1120, 1160, 1200) yds worsted weight wool or wool blend.

CONSTRUCTION: Fronts and back are knit in one piece from the bottom up to the armholes and then worked separately. Shoulders are shaped with short rows and joined with 3-needle bind off. Collar bands are worked along with the fronts and seamed at the back neck. Stitches are picked up for the armhole ribbing and worked in the round.

GAUGE: 20 sts/28 rows = 4" in stockinette, blocked.

SKILLS: Techniques include 3-needle bind off, short row shoulder shaping, m1 increases, picking up stitches, and reading charts.
