Cardita is an extremely pretty infant cardigan that includes a pronounced sea shell design below the yoke and through the length of the sleeves. This cardigan is sure to be a treasured family heirloom! Knit from the top down, this seamless cardigan is a quick knit project ideal for baby's first sweater or as a gift up to baby's first birthday. The body of the sweater is knit first, then the sleeves are knit flatly and seamed to finish.
The written pattern's sizing is done based upon variations in chest size, it is virtually impossible to knit a sweater that is too small for baby.
Sizing:Small: 0-3 months (up to 14.5-inch chest; 6-inch neck circumference) Medium: 3-6 months (15 to 17-inch chest; 7-inch neck circumference) Large: 6-12 months (17 to 19-inch chest; 8-inch neck circumference)
