I have used Cascade 220 for several projects. I have single crocheted sweaters with it, this made it thick and hold it's shape very well. I have knitted with it and it has a very nice drape, I have made hats with it and it is very warm.

I have used Cascade 220 for several projects and love it. It has good drape in a knit and I have single crocheted a sweater with it, I've made a hat with it and it is warm.
Like the other Cascade 220 yarns, this one is soft and easy to knit. Occasionally it splits, but usually only when I have pulled the stitch out and reknitted it because I didn't get something right. The poncho I am making will be soft, yet warm. And the stitches are well-defined. I haven't washed it yet, as I am still knitting, but I expect it to machine wash and dry with no problems. If I am not happy with the way it washes, I will add that to this rating.
