It’s just a great all around, soft yarn.

I am finding Cascade 220 Superwash easy, smooth and comfortable to knit with. It feels quite soft to the touch. It gives really good definition to the knitted pattern design I am using. The ball size is good for children's knitwear. I would certainly buy again. It would be useful to have a bigger size ball for knitting adult sizes or blankets etc. reducing the number of joins needed. Why only 4 stars? Generally the yarn is soft and smooth, but every now and then I come across a small thicker area of yarn which shows up when knitted. Sometimes it's just 'fluff' on the yarn which can be carefully removed; occasionally it shows as a thicker stitch when knitted. Sorry I can't comment on the 'superwash' aspect as I'm still knitting.
