Again, can’t say enough about Cascade yarns. I was disappointed though that for the first time in the many years I have used Lovecrafts and Cascade the colour does not match the colour shown. I had hoped for red instead I received more of a brick. I will not return it but I will have to rethink the project, perhaps introducing other colours. The yarn itself is great.
I have used Cascade 220 Superwash Merino Wool for two "college-colors afghans" for my grandchildren. The yarns the perfect weight, holds its shape and does not pill. I would highly recommend this yarn for similar projects.

This wool is soft and lovely to work with. I do find it more of a dk weight though. The colour is pretty, just what I wanted.
Lovely and soft, easy to knit with. Haven't washed it yet.
I am very concerned that there is a colour number but no dye lot. When making a blanket it is imperative to have the same dye lot.
