I bought this chunky yarn to crochet a sweater. I haven't worked with chunky yarn very often so I'm getting the feel of it by making a gauge swatch. So far, the yarn feels very dense and ultra soft. No splitting yet. The strand is absolutely without variance in circumference. While spinning it into a cake, I noticed there are no knots nor pilling. So nice to work with. The color is absolutely stunning. I wish I had bought more colors. The store where I bought this yarn was entirely sold out in just one day and so were other outlets around the country. I've never seen a yarn fly off the shelves in just a few hours as this did. I will purchase more when next it becomes available.

It’s a nice quality yarn in a very long length and I found no knots in any of the 16 hanks I purchased.
I was disappointed with the quality for merino yarn. I expected it to be a lot softer and more workable, plus it was expensive even in the sale. Much too solid and not very drapery
