A cosy preemie and baby hat that is simple and quick to knit! A perfect project for a new knitter.

Recommended yarns are: Rowan Baby Cashsoft Merino , Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino.
You can also use 4 Ply yarns that work on 3.25mm needles. This will produce a slightly lighter weight hat.
Choose to follow detailed instructions to knit EITHER flat and seamed on single pointed needles OR in the round on DPNs, Separate instructions are included for both. The choice is yours!
Sizes: Preemie 3-5lbs, 6-8lbs, 0-3m, 3-6m, and 6-12m
This pattern is written so it is extremely easy to understand with separate detailed row by row instructions for each size. Just print out the pages for the size you are knitting and leave the others in a folder for another project. All pages are clearly numbered and indexed.
