Product Details

This is probably my most unique shawl pattern, and although the knit-purl stitches are fairly, simple, the shawl is not. This unique ribbed lace is created using “make-1-knit” and make-1-purl stitches, and knit decreases.

If you enjoy trying new types of stitch arrangements, you’ll enjoy this pattern, and have a very unique FO to show off. (I really don’t think my pictures do it justice.)

The placement of the stitches creates scalloped sides as well as bottom/top scallops.

There are also instructions contained within the pattern for an optional crocheted edging.

This pattern is charted only.

You can knit this shawl as long or short as you like. The one shown is 84 inches creating a long lacy shawl.

Any heavy fingering weight yarn or sport weight yarn will work for this pattern. No crochet hooks needed if you don't want to crochet the edging.
