Product Details
This whimsical Cat Pin Cushion is a wonderful last minute gift for cat lovers, or anyone who likes to sew or craft. The cat pin cushion is knit in the round from the bottom up in one piece. Transfer the sts for the first ear onto a stitch holder, close the middle of the pin cushion with Kitchener stitch, knit the second ear. Then knit the first ear. Embroider the eyes, nose, lips and whiskers. After stuffing the pin cushion sew together the CO edge. You will use less then 50 yards / 46 meters of yarn. The pattern calls for worsted weight yarn, but you may use any yarn weight, as long as adjusting the knitting needles size, knowing that the finished item will be a slightly different size depending on the yarn used. The Cat Pin Cushion is also a great Halloween decoration... The pattern for Broomstick is available now, the pattern for the Witch Hat is coming in later this October.
