Cataclysm Cowl is designed of broken and stacked chevrons created with contrasting colors.
Using two contrasting worsted weight yarns, the amounts neded for each size are approximately: Main Color 50(62.5, 75, 100) grams / 100(125, 150, 200)yards. Contrasting Color 25(31.25, 37.5, 50) grams / 50(62.5, 75, 100) yards.
Additional supplies you might need: Stitch marker/ Row Counter Darning or Tapestry Needle Tape or Ruler to check gauge.
The pattern has written directions for everything except the color work chart. The chart is repeated a specific number of times per row depending on the size cowl you wish to make.
Sample is knit in a size small (for a tight fit on an adult) using Aussi Wool (discontinued) in yellow and a kettle-dyed-by-me yarn in purple & turquoise.
