Product Details
Ceres is a delicate lace scarf or stole that uses the palm leaf chevron from A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns by Barbara Walker. Both written and charted instructions are included for each version. The piece is worked in two halves and grafted at the center to preserve symmetry.
The pattern would look attractive in a variety of yarn weights and textures. The scarf version is knit in a 2ply fingering weight BFL handspun yarn on #8 needles. A list of commercial yarn substitutions is provided. The stole is knit in Madil Kid Seta.
Ceres is lightweight but warm, making it the perfect choice for spring and fall.
