Product Details

These beautifully intricate boot cuffs are the perfect project for advanced knitters. Knit stitch chains cross and interlock on a mesh background. The complexity of the stitches engages the mind, and the 5 sizes mean you can make them to be worn with either ankle or calf high boots. These Boot Cuffs match my Chain Link Mitts, Chain Link Hat, and Chain Link Cowl Patterns. Why not make a whole outfit?

Yarn: DK weight, approx. 100-241 yds (91.5-220 m).

Shown in: Malabrigo Silky Merino. DK weight, 51% silk / 49% Merino Wool. Colorway 412, Teal Feathers.

Needles: one set U.S. size 6 (4.0 mm) double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Optional extra needles: U.S. Size 5 (3.75 mm) or U.S. Size 4 (3.5 mm) double pointed needles.

Gauge: 24 stitches and 34 rows in chain link pattern, worked in the round and unblocked = 4 in. x 4 in (10 cm x 10 cm).

Notions: cable needle, locking stitch marker, tapestry needle.
