The Chantella shawl is worked in rows from the narrow point to its broad lace border. Regularly placed increases and pattern repeats are easy to memorize and result in a relaxed knitting experience. All rows are charted. The right side rows (RS, even numbered) are worked from right to left, all wrong side rows (WS, odd numbered) from left to right.
