Product Details
Charles the Lion is ready for a coronation party. I designed this lion to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III in 2023. A lion is one of the national symbols of England, and Charles is dressed in their finest military uniform, complete with medals, sash, and epaulettes on the shoulders. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the lion is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). Use a crochet hook to attach strands of yarn onto the head for the lion’s mane. For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, intarsia colour-work, picking up stitches along an edge, plus embroidery and seaming to finish.
