Asymmetric striped cardigan with shawl collar, age 1-2years, chest 22”, suitable for boy or girl
I don’t normally explain why I design patterns, but this one was extra special. I made this cardigan for a little boy, Chester. He hasn’t had the easiest start to life. One arm hasn't developed properly and he still has a feeding tube. His mum wanted a cardigan that would accommodate the tube, hence the shawl collar, and the asymmetric design disguises the differences between his arms.
