This is the child version of the Joey Socks! Shown in size 2 years. I designed some socks for mommy – daughter twins clothings!! But also perfect for dads and sons!!
Joey socks are unisex!!
The socks are worked from toe-up using magic loop. If you prefer you can use double pointed needles. I did the heel flap and gusset, but you can use whatever heel technique you prefer. You can also make them two at time.
Sizes 1 Year (32 sts), 2 Years (36 sts), 4 Years (40 sts), 6 Years (44 sts), 8 Years (48 sts).
Materials Piratenwolle Handdyed Sockwool (100 g, 420 m/230, 75% wool/25% polyamide): approx. 20 (25, 30, 35, 40) gr of fingering yarn, col. Honigsenf. Needles: 2.5 mm US 1 80 cm 32” or longer circular needle. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. Other: 1 Stitch marker if you want to mark the BOR, Tapestry needle, Scissors.
Gauge 28 sts and 36 rnds = 10 cm 4” in Stockinette Stitch.
