Product Details
This stitch pattern reminds of small cocoons, hence the name Chrysalis. This pattern is delicate and pretty, visually interesting, and easier than it looks. Like most of my favourite stitch patterns, it looks far more complicated than it actually is. It’s really just several rows of stockinette stitch with an occassional row of knitting trickery thrown in to keep it interesting.
This pattern requires a seamless cast on. You can also use a provisional cast on with scrap yarn. A link to a video demonstration of how I cast on for these slippers and how they are constructed is included in the pattern.
Instructions are included for 5 circumferences and foot length is customizable. The stitch pattern is both written and charted and the instructions are needle-neutral to accommodate your preferred method of working small circumference in the round. This pattern has been tech edited and test knit.
