What you'll need
Product Details
Knit up a couple of cuddly narwhal toys with this fully illustrated knitting pattern.
Narwhals might seem like mythical creatures, but these guys (called the ‘unicorn of the sea’ for their horn) are definitely real, if not quite so round in real life!
Made from the cosiest chunky yarn I could find, these toys would make lovely snuggly Christmas presents for kids (or adults). You only need to know how to cast on and cast off, knit, purl, and increase and decrease to make these. Narwhals are knitted on straight knitting needles so NO knitting in the round is needed.
(The yarn suggested below will make TWO narwhals)
You will need:
- A little under half a ball of James C Brett Flutterby Chunky in Aqua (colour code B46) for each narwhal OR an equivalent yarn.
- Very small amount of James C Brett Flutterby Chunky in Ginger Fox (colour code B51) for the horn (or equivalent alternative yarn)
- A pair of 6mm straight knitting needles
- Toy stuffing
- Small lengths of black dk
