Knit and make up a pretty flower shaped cushion in soft chunky yarn with our step-by-step knitting pattern. Sure to brighten any room, you can also add a bright pom pom to the centre to give an extra pop of colour.
Suitable for knitters with basic knitting ability (knitted flat, this pattern uses knit, purl, increasing and decreasing) and made with super chunky teal yarn and thick 7mm knitting needles, this is a satisfying weekend knitting project.
To make your flower cushion you will need: some chunky yarn- we use Women’s Institute Soft and Chunky Yarn in Teal (you’ll need one and a quarter balls) though you can use any similar weight yarn to make this cushion, long 7mm straight knitting needles, some toy stuffing, a pompom and sewing needles.
Flower cushion measures 35cm tall when finished.
