Chusi Cushion

The original yarn to make this striped cushion is made from Alpaca and Peruvian Highland Wool, so I decided to use a Quechua name for the cushion as Quechua is the native language of rural Peru.

I chose Chusi because it means striped woollen blanket. These squares are very simple to knit and perfect for knitters who haven’t used more than one shade before.

I love creating easy to knit designs. I love combining yarns of beautiful quality with the simplest of stitches to create truly unique items that are a joy to knit. This straightforward pattern has no complicated abbreviations or tricky techniques. It is a pattern you can knit with pride and delight!
